Axe Throwing Tutorial

At Kelowna Karting, we’re excited to offer an incredible axe-throwing experience that’s both fun and safe for everyone. Here are a few tips to help you perfect your throws:

  • If the blade hits parallel to the target, your throw is at the perfect distance and strength.
  • If the top of the axe hits the board, the throw is over-rotated, and stepping half a step closer can help.
  • If the handle hits, the axe under-rotated, so take a half-step back.

While one-handed throws can be lots of fun, we recommend two-handed throws for beginners to ensure a smoother learning experience.
