With advanced safety features and responsive handling, these karts offer a thrilling yet safe experience for young racers to enjoy the fun of karting.
Up to two parents or guardians per group may drive junior karts alongside the junior drivers during their session.
Races start every 10 minutes, with a 10 minute break between booked races to snap a podium pic and jump back in.
Most drivers complete between 10 and 16 laps per race, depending on their speed and experience level.
Think you have what it takes to top the leaderboard? Rankings are based on your single fastest lap during the race.
You may be joined on track by other guests during your race. We group drivers by experience and lap times whenever possible, creating a fun and competitive environment where you can learn and improve. Prefer the track to yourself? Private races are also available.
Junior racers under 12 who meet the 57-inch height requirement may qualify to drive an adult kart through our Junior Advancement Assessment.
A track marshal will assess their driving skill, maturity and safe racing habits in a junior kart. Drivers who demonstrate consistent control and good judgment may be approved for adult kart sessions before turning 12.
Speak with a front desk staff member to begin the advancement process. Final approval is at the discretion of the track marshal on duty.
Kelowna Karting’s all-new MEGA TRACK is officially open. The longer, wider and faster 325-metre layout features 16 corners, more passing opportunities and a better racing experience for beginners and experienced drivers alike.
