Kelowna Karting Unveils the All-New MEGA TRACK

Kelowna Karting’s all-new MEGA TRACK is officially open, with a longer, wider and faster layout designed to create better racing.

The new track was built to address some of the biggest limitations of our previous layout. Narrow sections made passing difficult and left less room for drivers of different skill levels to race comfortably together.

Our goal was to make the track more enjoyable for everyone. Beginners now have more room to learn and build confidence, while experienced racers can use different racing lines, take on more technical sections and set up real passes.

Longer, Wider and More Technical

The track has grown from 265 metres to 325 metres, adding 60 metres to every lap. It now has 16 corners instead of 14, with typical lap times increasing from approximately 25 seconds to 30 seconds.

The layout includes fast sweeping corners, tight technical sections, linked combinations, heavy braking zones and longer areas to accelerate. Longer straightaways allow the electric karts to reach higher speeds, while the wider track creates more racing lines and passing opportunities.

Beginners have more room to learn and recover from mistakes. Faster drivers have more space to plan and complete a safe pass instead of getting stuck behind traffic.

The early response has been extremely positive. Customers have noticed the extra speed and passing opportunities, while newer drivers feel more comfortable with the additional space.

“I’m passionate about racing, and I want every person who walks through our doors to feel that same excitement. We’ll keep improving until Kelowna Karting offers the best indoor karting experience possible.”
